PRESS RELEASE

For Immediate Release
Last Updated August 12, 1997

Dr. Ralph F. Wilson is the director of Wilson Internet Services, and serves organizations all over the world as a Web site and on-line store designer and consultant on Internet marketing. On-line since 1988, he as constructed nearly 100 Web sites since May 1995.

As a result of marketing his own company on the Internet, he has developed an international clientele, with customers from 26 states, five provinces of Canada, as well as Indonesia, Ireland, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Australia, and Mexico.

His e-mail newsletter, Web Marketing Today (http://www.wilsonweb.com/wmt/), reaches in excess of 26,000 readers each issue on every continent, the largest readership for an e-mail marketing newsletter on the Internet. Web Marketing Today is also translated into Dutch, French, and German for greater accessibility in Europe and Canada. More recently he launched Web Commerce Today (http://www.wilsonweb.com/wct/), which focuses exclusively on selling products directly over the Internet.

Dr. Wilson is the owner of several Web sites which attract thousands of readers each week. His Christian Articles Archive (http://www.wilsonweb.com/archive) won the coveted Point Communications "Top 5% of All Web Sites" and "Best of the Christian Web 1996" recognitions.

The Web Marketing Information Center (http://www.wilsonweb.com/webmarket) has been favorably reviewed in many periodicals, including Who's Marketing Online, The Learning Fountain, Home Office Computing, The Active Marketer, Web Review, and Your Company Magazine. It has also been cited for excellence in Morris and Hinrichs' Web Page Design (Prentice Hall, 1996) and Tom Vassos' Strategic Internet Marketing (Que). It is listed as a preferred resource on hundreds of business Web sites throughout the world, including AT&T's Business Center and Inc. Magazine Online.

Charles Sayer, editor of Who's Marketing Online, wrote recently, as he listed the Web site among his periodical's "The Web's Best Marketing Resources,"

"I have a confession to make. I take Ralph Wilson's (who I affectionately refer to as Dr. Ralph) Web Marketing Information Center for granted. It's a tremendous site and resource -- with links to more than 300 marketing-related articles. But its real value is in the insights written by Dr. Ralph himself, who has a personal and practical grasp of successful online marketing tactics. It's a site that will take several visits -- and every one you make will be well worth it."

His articles have been widely reprinted in both traditional and Internet publications. Some of his articles were published as part of Fred E. Hahn's Do-It-Yourself Advertising (Second Edition, John Wiley & Sons, 1997). Yahoo, the Web's premier on-line index, has even set up a separate category for Dr. Wilson's articles on Web marketing.

He is in demand as a speaker on Internet Marketing. He has served as an instructor on the subject for Sierra College, California State University at Sacramento, Hillsdale College Continuing Education, and DePaul University. In addition, he has been a speaker for groups in manufacturing, advertising, small business, and education.

"The Web is a great leveler," he says, "which allows smaller companies to present just as effective a presence on the Internet as firms ten times their size." In addition to his work with larger firms, Dr. Wilson assists smaller businesses develop effective marketing strategies for the Internet which can propel them from a merely local marketplace to national or even global business opportunities.

Dr. Wilson draws upon a broad background, with bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in the sciences and theology. He spent five years in virus and genetics research, and co-authored several scientific papers at California Institute of Technology. Following graduate studies, he has served as a pastor for 20 years in Southern California and in the Sacramento area.

He is often asked how a pastor got onto the Internet. "I guess people assume that ministers don't know much and have no grasp of technology," he chuckles. "But effective marketing on the Internet isn't really about computers, but communication." The communication skills he has developed over two decades of speaking, writing, and editing contribute considerable insights to his service to business people as an Internet marketing consultant and Web site designer.

He is married and the father of three children. Two sons partner with their father in serving customers all over the country through Wilson Internet Services. He lives in Loomis, California, a rural suburb east of Sacramento, and may be reached by telephone at (916) 652-4659, or by e-mail.
